That’s what I call a Woodland Walk

My thanks to the 9 walkers who were tempted by my “un recceid” nominally 10 mile walk through the woodlands surrounding Shepherds Green but starting at The Sun in Witheridge Hill. By my calculation at least 9.5 miles were on woodland paths, primarily Beech woods. A glorious sunny day in early September were just perfect conditions. Will have to be repeated in other seasons, just for a comparison. An extra refreshment stop at Red Lion in Peppard Common to check progress on the refurbishment – looking good for future walks
