The majority of the following walks are taken from our Walks Programme starting April 1st 2023, now with links to their .gpx file. The GPX file should be downloaded and saved on your device (phone, tablet or PC)
To view the GPX file you need to have pre installed one of the common Apps, or opened up the relevant website on your PC. We have tested the links with OS Maps which does have an annual charge of £20 or the following which are Free (but with adverts) OSMandMaps, Maps.me and specifically for Android devices we suggest Locusmap and web.locusmap.app for the PC
The method of viewing a GPX file varies according to the device manufacturer. Either go to the file location and click on it which gives you a choice of which App it should be opened in (the Apple method) or open the Mapping software and one of the options will be “Import a file” ( the Microsoft method.

To view the route on the map, either click on the numbered walk immediately below the map or click on the “View on map” text on each walk entry. Hovering over a marker or clicking on a track will display the track number and description.
