We returned to the John Baker gate and found it in tip top condition.
Eleven members returned to the gate erected in memory of John Baker, a long standing and stalwart member of the Club. John’s great forte was the ‘Figure of Eight’ walk; we would complete a morning walk and return
to the start for lunch, members could leave at this point or stay to complete a full day’s walk, other members
could join for just the afternoon.
The walk concluded with superb displays of bluebells.
